Borhanuddin can be reached by car from Bhola Sadar and then by auto or rickshaw.
Details
Bhola is well known as a gas rich district. Shahbazpur gas field in Borhanuddin upazila of Bhola has 1 trillion cubic feet of gas reserves. With this gas, it is possible to meet the demand of Bhola district and send it outside the district. A policy decision has been made to set up a fertilizer factory with this gas. At present 34.5MW power plant gas is being supplied from here.
